Cool Double Kiddings - Pictures Finally

I'm so far behind on keeping everything updated, but on the 28th Bleuberry and Ginger both kidded. Bleuberry was induced so I totally expected that, but Ginger really caught me by surprise.

Pictures and info here

Crystal your posts and blog never fails to make me smile . I had a flying bundle of goo once! My girl Brandy has just delivered monster twin bucklings and I figured she was done. I was cleaning up around her when she coughed and something went shooting out behind her . There was a little 5lb doeling on the ground! I called her the after thought and our very own Morningstar owns her now (it's Winnie her herd queen).

Too funny! A few yrs ago I got the bright idea to breed 2 mares at the same time. They were literally bred 2 days apart. So approx 11 months later I looked out my back window and saw appy mare down with feet sticking out. She was a 19 yr old 1st time mom so I yelled for help and ran out in PJ's. As I ran outside I saw that my other more experienced younger mare had a still wet foal who was up and trying to find the milk!!! So I ran back in screaming "bring more towels, it's a two-fer-one deal". LOL. I had checked both mares only 2 hours before and there was NOTHING going on other than normal bagging up. Mares have their own version of the Doe code.

Awww! Y'all make me blush.... Thanks so much

Also happy to know I'm not the only one with flying kids! I was so worried I'd lose it in the dark or accidentally step on it!

Oh and I swear I will never get my blog updated!! Rosie, our lil Pruittville bred Nubian kidded with twins tonight! Bred her to TLC Farms Mr Beau Jangles and the babies are pretty....

Drop dead gorgeous red road buck kid with a partial belt & black trim.... He has the prettiest head, nice wide muzzle and ears that hang a good 3 inches past his nose..... My gosh he's just so darn PRETTY! And he has testicles!!

But, I won't fuss.... the other kid is a lovely blue roan DOELING with a red roan tail and hind legs.. kinda odd colored, but so sweet. Wish she had the fabulous ears of her brother, but at least she doesn't have testicles!!!

I thought it sounded like fun! I bet the neighbors just line up each day wondering what the heck that goat woman is going to wear to the barn and how long before she comes racing out of the barn chasing who knows what!!! HA! HA! Laughed out loud and enjoyed the whole affair.
