dbarjacres lamancha x pics
Took a few kid pics (the older babies all moved to the barn today, so picture taking is a little easier).. I went back and found some pictures of Vivian & Rizzo..and even one of Rizzo's sire.. I forgot to tell Jess to take udder shots of Rizzo this morning before she milked (I'm in the house on human baby duty.. during milking for the time being.. once it warms up... zade goes out to the milkroom too)... I told her to take some tomorrow morning.. asked how Rizzo was milking.. she said she filled a gallon bucket up to just a couple inches from the top...so she is milking well. Jess says she enjoys hand milking her..that she is one of her favorites to milk..easy on her hands..good flow..she LIKES the milkstand.
First 3 pics are of Vivian (she is very long & level.. milks a lot and has a long lactation.. I didn't breed her this year, due to a shoulder injury)
Next couple pics are Rizzo (more black the her mom..long antelope stripped brows)..
Two pictures of the little girl (solid colored ears and little spots) the next is her brother.. with his wee frosted ears standing among his long earred 1/2 siblings LOL)... brown and white buck is Rizzo's dad as a young yearling
will get udder shots tomorrow

Had to show DH before I replied. His comment, seeing the kids in the back ... wow, look at those spots!
Yes I will take her. Gonna pm you for details.

I'll take more lamancha x pictures this weekend.. I know you want a nubian buck.. so what color would you like??? I have LOTS of colors to choose from (I'm starting to match my earlier reserve buyers with what kids were born and want to make sure I have one you'll like)..was rather buckling poor until the last few does.. doelings are still barely ahead in numbers, but bucklings made a big surge
..also, do you think you want the lamancha guy too?? I know you have *dibbs* on him.. but I also know dbarjacres would like him if you don't...
off to take two newborns (Nite who is my only G6S carrier) to the vet's for blood draws (not going to attempt newborn blood pulls this tired LOL).. and get their blood off so I'll know their G6S status before I sell them...

I'd be pleased as punch with the mancha guy....I'm honestly not sure I'm ready for another full Nubian buck at this point.
I'd love to see the udder pics you mentioned but understand completely how sometimes one gets busy and can't get pictures taken and posted.
Are you going to be heading my way any time in the near future?

took a couple pictures this morning not great ones, but they are pictures.. LOL
Rizzo is one hairy gal this year.. (colder winter maybe?) Riz is jess' favorite doe to milk.. her hands and Riz's teats.. just sort of match LOL.. I really think the buckling is going to be a nice boy.. I love the bone & width Edge is giving me with almost ALL the does we bred him to..
sadly I doubt I will be leaving the house anytime soon.. so no deliveries this year... just too much workload at the moment... am really pushing for all the non-keeper bottle kids to be picked up and GONE LOL..in the next couple weeks.. At this point I know that dbarjacres is for sure picking up on March 22 for her doeling and the Amelia girl.. so, I'd like the buckling to go about then too.. just let me know which one of you is going to be his new mommy..
I will let the lamancha cross buckling go as a buck (instead of sticking a green rubber band on him ) for $125...as a wether I would let him go for $75.. If someone really likes the nubian x lamancha crosses.. this is a nice starting point for a herd sire..

Nice to see I'm not the only one with a baby in a carrier while I do chores.

Suzy are you able to get him? I'm tempted if you cant pick him up but hope he can go to you. I know someone looking for a clean LM buck or I'd keep him as a wether to use as a companion for new goats or whatever (cartgoat!!!!!!!).
