Getting Excited!

Dora (my Nubian) is at day 148, and Blossom (LM) at day 146. Blossom's ligs have been gone for a couple of days, and Dora has lost hers since yesterday. I have them both in the kidding stall, have trimmed their feet and shaved their udders - now the wait is on. We have a big snowstorm headed this way for tomorrow night through Thursday, so I'm sure that's when the doe code will mandate the kids be born! LOL

Definitely will kid in snow storm! You may count on that. To make up for all the cold fingers and freezing toes you should get at least four girls out of this! We will all work hard on that by thinking good thoughts for you.

Pretty sure my LM doe is in labor now. I figured she'd do this, because I have an early class in the morning and we all know the doe code states that they MUST go into labor at the most inconvenient times! LOL I'm going to bed and have asked my son to wake me up in a little while to go check on her.

False alarm. I think she and Dora are both going to wait until the middle of this snowstorm we have coming tonight and lasting through Thursday morning. Doe code, ya' know!
