Lydia kidded (pics included)
Lydia had twin DOELINGS!!! both girls are adorable..going to be long & level.. very active little girls.. both nursed well, pooped/pee'd.. getting around all over the place... Lydia had her afterbirths.. ate dinner, milked well.. Still waiting for Carla & Giada.. (appears we are having a slow motion race to see who kids next.. they are both uncomfortable, shifting weight, starting to paw.. hope they don't decide to go at exactly the same time.. The moonspotted girl will end up being black covered in white spots.. (the picture of them all in the cages is more of their *true* coloring.. the lighting was weird in the other room..)

What delightful coloring those girls have! So, do you let them nurse their colostrum and then pull them and bottle feed?

Ashley.. ALL the kids so far have been sired by my new jr. herd sire Edge
http://adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.a...ber=N001616986
(he's out of GCH dam..she LA'd at a 90.. has her milk star AND she is black with white spots..his granddam on his sire side LA'd at a 92 and has her championship.. I couldn't be happier with Edge -took me forever to find a spotted buck that I wanted as a herd sire-first year to use him, he's just turning 2.. SO far ALL the kids are looking like Edge) Getting ready to post pics in a bit of Carla's & Giada's kids.. Carla had a HUGE single buckling.. BUT what a buckling !!! LOL he is totally moonspotted out.. with a mostly black head & ears.. herd sire potential too
Giada had TWIN doelings.. both have tons of white AND black with moonspots.. I'm keeping one of them for my greedy self LOL
I haven't counted, but I think I have 10 more does left to kid that are bred to Edge..

They are beautiful!
Wow, you've got a whole little herd of black and white kids there! I love that pic of the crates, that giant pile of black and white babies.
