Why does she do this?

Since Winnie was very young, she has had this habit of pawing my foot. I always step away and don't let her do it, because I wonder if it is some sort of dominance thing. I've noticed recently that she also paws at her herdmates' heads if they are eating and she wants to get to the feed. She really goes at it...club, club, club. Is this a sign that she wants to take over, or is she just weird?

I have one that does this because she wants me to love on her !! Does it for attention basically !

Just excited, probably. I have some that will try to get their feet in the feed pan just because it is so good they can't stand it. They paw at the mineral feeder too.

I thought it was like a little kid tugging your pants leg. My bottle babies are the worst at it. The latest girl slept on the couch with me because I was keeping her body temp up with mine. Try getting smacked between the eyes in the middle of the night when she wants to go potty....
