What to try to get from vet?
I have my vet friend checking to see if he can get me injectable CMPK, Banamine, vitamin B12, and thiamine. Is there anything else that you would recommend having on hand that is by prescription only?

If you are selenium defficient then it might be good to have some BoSe on hand

The only other thing I can think of is Dex.....I don't have that but I could get it fast in a pinch. And Nuflor....I hate the stuff but it works.

Injectable C, in addition to the other excellent suggestions. Nuflor is going to cost you, but when you want it on hand, you will be so glad you have it!
