Soaking up the sunshine

Here are some pictures of the girls out enjoying the sunshine. I think they are ready for the pasture to start growing.

They look pretty patient waiting for spring! I can't believe you don't have any snow! I'm jealous cause I wish our pastures looked like that right now.

Our snow melted a few days ago. It's 41 degrees and sunny right now...supposed to be in the mid-high 30s tomorrow and Wednesday.

Here's one I took just a few minutes ago...all of them lounging in the sunshine. That is Sally, the Americauna/Buff Orpington with them.

Vinnie (the completely black one) is the one that is having trouble walking, so I love seeing her out there enjoying herself.

We have a snow storm blowing in tomorrow sometime, so the ground won't be bare for much longer. I just looked at pictures from this time last year, and we had clover growing like crazy and the pasture was bright green. That was quite unusual for this time of year, but the gaoties sure enjoyed it.

If there is any hope that it would help spring hurry up and get here I will go lay in the pasture with the goats!
