my husband took 155 pictures of kids!
This could be a new record...even for him! Many of them were just a blur of kids leaping and chasing...but there were a couple of decent ones. Here is our girl's FF udder. I think it looks pretty good... could certainly be larger!!! BUT the orifices are great! She is close to 4 lbs this am! I guess with triplets she better put out the milk! The kids are eating well...the boy at 3 days old is at 10 oz a feeding...the girls are sooooo much smaller and are at between 6 and 8 oz per feeding. The buck and the smaller girl will both be moon spotted - that cannot be a bad thing!! I am super proud of them...but my husband is over the moon!

That looks like a nice udder, teats could move in some, and it's hard to tell on height because the vulva was cut off the pic, but it looks like could use a bit more height. It does look pretty nice though! SO, where are the baby pictures??

Yes, he is a doll! He is also bedazzled! OOOOps! Sorry, I honestly didn't see that the picture is a little off. Let me check to see if there is one that gives the whole idea...
REMEMBER: you asked for kid pics!! With 155 to choose from...!

Sorry, again! The bottom two photos are of the buckling and the smallest doeling. You cannot see it really well, but they are both heavily moon spotted...it will take a bit of time for it to come out. Girl with the belt/heart does not appear to have any moon spots.

Thanks everyone for the comments! All are much appreciated. This girl is a favorite because of her personality. She will live here as long as it takes. Cindy Stewart of Buttercup Acres says about one of her girls: "She is not the most well balanced of my does, but she makes beautiful kids!" I just love that thought. We bought bucks from Cindy and from Tanya at BulletCreek with the idea of getting good udders and MILK! Safari is not without flaw and I agree that her udder could be improved (hope to do that on the kids by using Noble from BulletCreek who is the son of SGKECMRWillow), but as Frosted Minis said, it's not bad either! She is a great little girl, fabulous deep rich color and wonderful personality. Of all the things a doe can be (and believe me, I love spots! lol) give me the one with the personality who loves people and doing her job. I know most folks know that...but the perfect udder, just like the perfect spots (!) are still part of the equasion!!

I would not be upset with that udder though! Love the kids, do they have a sheet in their pen? They look very interested in it. Are these full-size or mini Nubians? Sorry, don't know Nubians, so didn't know if those herdnames were full or minis.

Beautiful babies & I think your FF udder looks pretty good too. I'm so glad your hubby is so happy with all the babies & thank God for the digital age or can you imagine printing all his pictures!

Thanks again! My husband is the best! However, he is also a frustrated photographer...a few years ago our kids gave him a digital camera and none of us have seen him since! lol
He has joined photography clubs and online "help" forums and he just loves taking photos. Weddings, grandkids....baby goats!! He hung two of my CLEAN sheets from plywood (I was terrified that the contraption would fall on the kids!) because he was convinced that the barn background would drown the color...or something like that...not sure. Anyway, the kids (being kids) spent a great deal of time trying to see what was BEHIND those curtains!! I think he will try a different background next time! Think how exciting it will be to see the kids on an island? In the ocean? Who knows!!
We are trying to decide whether to offer the son of this FF for sale...as opposed to meat sale. Several of our goat friends think "yes!" He looks very good and we have some time to decide before we wether. His sire is the son of GCH FraJac's Ty Vinnie, his dam is the daughter of GCH SG KECMR Caleb's Mountain Renagade. There are GCH and SG and M's throughout the lines. On our little girl's side is Emily's and Joan's majic of mixing Amberwood and Ozark Jewels to create some of the prettiest goats I have ever seen...both Nubians (full size) and LaManchas. Not to mention MILK! His sire, BulletCreek Vin's Noble Legate (picture below) is one of twins born last year. Tanya just emailed me to say that on milk test Noble's sister just weighed in at 14 pounds as a FF. That ain't too shabby, as we say in the hills. We are working on a decision re this boy. The girls will probably stay right here. Joan sold Fox Fire as the son of a FF and she wishes to this day that she had kept him!!! LOL! But he was one in a million!! We shall see. Again, thanks for the kindness and interest...this is an honest but very kind group of people!!

Those are some great photos and I think that FF udder is very nice. We tried to get photos of four kids for our website about a week ago and finally gave up, after running the battery out on the camera. Photographing goats is NOT easy!
