Icy day brings baby goats! pictures!!

So, yesterday trnubian and I were entertaining (or boring) everyone with our girl's udders and I made a statement that the ice storm would bring the kids.
Well, yesterday afternoon our little first freshener who by some mysterious slight of hand became pregnant (!) delivered TRIPLETS...boy and 2 girls. The boy was almost 9 pounds, girls both at a little over 5. All seems to be well...not to jinx anything. Boy will be moon spotted like his sire..all are red with frosted ears, top knots and the flashy girl has a full belt with a heart on her back (can't believe she missed Valentine's Day! Delivery was pretty easy for our little girl...the boy was first and the biggest, so he took some work.
Now, Meggie (2nd freshener) is building an enormous mound in the barn and we may move her into a birthing area soon....I'm telling you! It Is The Ice!!
#1: kids prior to first meal, but post clean-up #2 boy #3-4 girls

Yay! I KNEW she wouldn't hold out much longer. WOW! She sure didn't look to be hiding triplets in there from the pictures. And 2 does to boot. That is just awesome! They are so pretty.

Thank you both! We are thrilled with them. I honestly thought she would have one! She never hummed and moaned or complained...she kept eating hay while in labor! lol

Thank you all! We got about 3 inches here...not too bad. We did not lose electric!
Mama is our wonderful girl from Emily at Ozark Jewels...we just love her because she is sweet as she is pretty. Kids sire is a fantastic boy from BulletCreek. I knew this was going to be a great breeding, but was sincerely surprised by the triplets.

Congratulations! Those are *really* some gorgeous, sturdy-lookin' kids. Your pics *almost* make me want Nubians again! *Almost*, but I do love my MiniManchas, and will hold myself back.
