Star kidded!!!! Pictures included..

So.... Today was day 146 of Star's pregnancy and when I went out to feed, this is how I found her.... Baby talking & refusing to come out of the barn....

Star kidded!!!! Pictures included.. - Goats

Buck #1 came shortly after.... He had his front feet out, head back over shoulder so we had some maneuvering to do to get him out.... This poor kid was STARVING, and was sucking my finger WHILE I WAS TRYING TO TURN HIS HEAD!!! lol

He looks just like Tricks, even has a big white splash on one side:

Here he is with Karma the Chinese Created and you can see his white splash:

Next up, I saw this lil nose with a white zig zag.... Prayed it was a girl, and when I finally got it out, I was crushed that he had a pair of testicles But my goodness he is so pretty and flashy!

Star kidded!!!! Pictures included.. - Goats

Here are both boys.... Boy #2 has white on both sides, and has the cutest white and tan swirls around his legs... Why oh why couldn't he be a SHE??

Star kidded!!!! Pictures included.. - Goats

Both boys had great suck reflex before they we're even dry, and both were on their feet instantly (pics are at an hour old!). Did not give the mom Bo-Se prior to kidding like I usually do, and did not need to give it to the babies like I usually do... We skipped Bo-Se and copper bolusing to experiment with the Replamin Plus and I must say, I'm impressed.

Will get more pics of the babies when they are drier and fluffier
One is spoken for, the other is available.... Dam is out of a really nice Rockin-CB doe, sire is Tonka, my +*B SG South Fork Toi Soldier AI baby. Price is lower if they leave as bottle babies, PM me if you're interested

Oh and can you believe she kidded late morning, in WONDERFUL weather and there wasn't any drama other that moving the lil one's head around??

We have "gusty thunderstorms" in the forecast for Thursday, and she didn't hold out for nasty weather.... Only had 2 barn checks and we were kidding! Wish they all went this smooth

Congratulations on two beautiful babies! Even if they are both bucks. I am sure they will make wonderful herd sires for someone.

They are gorgeous! We're having a buck year also, much to my dismay.

Sara I'm looking forward to meeting you! Hope this lil man works out well for you.... His brother is leaving on Monday, and keeping with T name theme of all my Tonka Toi kids, his name is Tucker The kids are calling your lil man Toby right now, but I'm leaving his name space blank on his papers so you can pick something you like
