WOO HOO! We have a kid!

Good thing I'm off today for President's Day, cuz Wild Child just had a buckling! So much for being 2 weeks out...
He is already nursing, WC delivered the afterbirth, but I honestly cannot tell if there is another in there or not.

Here's the first pics:

No, kind of afraid she'll take offense and put a horn in a sensitive spot...
It's been over two hours, no sign of any others poking out. What's the typical timeline for multiples?

Buckling is probably going to be wethered for a companion for Rocco. Gotta think up a name...

He is a darling, sturdy little guy! I'd call him Pauley.

In discussing names for the new boy, Jack struck a chord with us both, so shall he be known.

Sorry, dozedotz, Pauley would only remind me of Pauley Shore, and he is not someone of whom I care to be reminded. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Wild Child is an attentive mother, which is a relief.

Names are funny - the associations. I was thinking of the first Rocky movie and Rocky's pal, Paulie. Sorry, that's all I got.
