The barn is clean!

It was so pretty outside today. It was sunny all day with no wind. After church and lunch me, my brother, our cousin and my hubby all went out and cleaned the barn and rearranged a bit. Now it looks and smells so much better. I wanted it done soon since the does are due here in the next couple week. It always makes me feel so much better when it's done. Oh and finally got a new stero. Our last one took a dump. It was old. Gotta have some music while in the barn. My medicine cabinet and tack box need a coat of paint but that will have to be another day.

That is one heck of a stero!! LOL!! I love that feeling when everything is gutted and cleaned. We will doing that in April when the deep bedding gets stripped and all the manure spread on the fields. Your barn looks great! What is playing on the boom box??

Judy- You are planting already???

Minelson- LOL I don't remember what was playing. Just the radio. : )
I like to have the winter hard pack out of the barn before the does kid. Mine tend to dig alot when in labor so I don't want them digging down to nasty and kidding in it.

Looks great! Look at all that space! A ladder into the loft even!

Wish I had a real barn!
My goats would probably like a radio, I'm not sure they appreciate my singing!

Barn looks good! Were like Minelson & have to wait a while longer to clean out the barn, etc. because it's too cold.

HEHE. Sorry Goat Junkie, I really dislike cleaning the barn but I do like the after affect. So I am good without doing another barn for awhile.

We used to have so many more goats. That's why the barn is as big as it is. Used to be full. That was when my sister was still at home and we showed alot. I don't like doing it all myself so only have a couple does my brother shows at 4-H. Might do an open show this year we will see. Haven't gone to one for the past couple years due to multiple pregnancy complications.
It sure is nice to have plenty of room to move things around. Just easier to junk up. Our "barn" is only 32 by 36 so by no means huge. Does have a loft though and we do have another "calf shed" that we have used as a buck barn.

Dan those kids are cute! Hope it warms up soon March is coming! Yay!
Judy I just can't imagine planting ANYTHING right now. It is sunny but the ground is still frozen here. Great for cleaning the barn with no mud but not planting.
