My Valentine's gift to you BABIES!!!
Monkey (the one that started it all and BooBoo's mom) kidded a two kids at 6:30 am (thank you Lord for my baby monitor). The first was a black and white doe with one wattle on one side and a tiny little bump on the other side. Funniest thing I have ever seen, and the second was a chocolate and white buckling. The doe is bigger then the buckling and I had to check about seven times to make sure it was a doe.
If you remember I had not planned to breed Monkey this year after what happened with last year and her being bred so young. Well her and G-Mo had different plans. So the little doe (she is my second grade doe for the show ring) is It Happen's I am a Doh (with a Homer Simpson's voice lol).
I am beyond tired but kids are dry, fed, dipped, and they have had their BoSe shots and vit E. So I am going to go grab coffee and get my day started by going to milk my girls.
We are done for the year with the LaManchas. We have one Boer doe due in March but I am thinking about selling her shortly after she kids... haven't totally decided though.
The count is 11 babies. 4 girls and 7 boys. All had twins beside Cherry she had a single buck. So all in all my first REAL year kidding here I am very happy. I thought for sure we would have nothing but all bucks.
So here you go the pretty little Mancha babies.
