USDA Certified Organic

I don't know if it's my iPhone, or if the USDA's site is actually that baffling.... but I can not find the USDA requirements for certification of goat milk and goat meat. Any help/links would be appreciated!

Until the thread about Gimp came along (where is that smiley that blows kisses???) I would think I had to ask in the chicken group, but I'm also interested in the certification for organic eggs.... if it's not too much trouble....

Is anyone here raising certified organic animals or animal products?

I find it difficult to navigate sites with my Droid. Here are some links that I was able to find on the desktop. Yes, their site is daunting.
http://www.ams.usda.gov/AMSv1.0/NOPFAQsHowCertified - Talks about picking a certification agent.
And the here is the National Organic Program (NOP) Handbook:

I don't think I helped you at all. That handbook is a Table of Contents document. I can get most every section to open EXCEPT for the Guidelines for livestock producers in the appendices. I have a slow internet connection and temporarily disabled Java for security reasons, so that may be why. But I've tried to open it from every direction and it continues to fail.

Perhaps the web site is encountering problems? Maybe should be reported to their webmaster.

If lexa is correct (I have no reason to doubt), you'll have to locate a Slaughter Facility that is certified Organic and has a USDA meat inspector on site. Manure handling or composting would be difficult if you have to process very much of it.
Laws on the sale of raw goat milk vary from state to state. Not legal in most states.
