Finally a goat owner!

I picked up my LaMancha doeling (Belle) today
I am 150% completely head over heels in love with her. Of course, I have pictures to share.

Also, here is her buddy! He doesn't have a name yet, and he's still a bit timid, but improving!

I think the little guy looks like a Mr Howell to me....you know, Bell(e) and Howell!

Congrats on Belle...she's cute. Of course, I'm partial to LaManchas.

Congrats! You'll have lots of fun with them. Belle's buddy almost looks like a devil or a gremlin in that picture (it must be the adorable little horns) but he's definitely 200% cuter. And more well behaved, sounds like

Well since you are only 150% head over heals in love with her that means that you are not completely sure of your love for her and it might be a good idea if you just let me have her.

Congrats, Bell is adorable, and that maple leaf on her forehead is just too cute. I bet her litte companion will come round in no time.

Thanks everyone! Her buddy is okay. It's hard to love him when he's constantly trying to get away from me, while at the same time I have her bounding over when she sees me and giving me goatie kisses. She is just a joy, I knew baby goats were cute but they are almost overwhelmingly so in person- especially baby manchas

Ya can't have my baby!

And oh my gosh, I didn't even realize her forehead marking looks like a maple leaf, haha! just one more thing to love about her

Oh dear. You are SUNK! I call baby goats "criminally cute." It should almost be illegal for something to be so adorable! Maybe the boy will lighten up the more he sees Belle seeking attention. Beautiful doeling!

Congratulations. I remember the first goat I ever got, and how excited I was. She was a saanen named Daisy. We also bought a kid named Billy to keep her company. It is very exciting to have goats for the first time. Enjoy them.

The only cure for this problem is to apply more baby goats to your herd. It may not clear up with a single application, so be sure to apply whenever you notice symptoms getting worse.

I am bringing her back to her breeder when her horn buds are a bit bigger to be disbudded.. depending on how much money in my pocket, you never know, another one might just sneak into my car...
