She is getting big...

I took pics of Hannah today while she was eating her supper. She is getting pretty big. Her first possible due date (150 days) is March 2nd. That is the first day I put the buck in with her. He stayed until December 8th and I never saw him breed her but he obviously did. Her udder is starting to develop like it does in that last couple weeks so I am looking for her to kid at least the first half of March.

She has freshened 7 times. First freshening with twins, second through fifth freshenings with triplet does, sixth fresheing with quads and seventh freshening twins again.
I am thinking twins again or small triplets. But she is so wide and so deep she hides even quads well.

What do you all think?

They always get so big at the last you never think they will make it.

Gosh she is a pretty Mama! I think there are three.

Just for fun..... Two does and a buck. The buck born in the middle, or last and small. All healthy.

Cecelia's 150 day due date is also March 2nd. She is a 2nd freshener, that had trouble as a FF. So I am already getting nervous. I will be checking with the vet for an after hour number, since the 2nd is on the weekend.

Here are some pictures for size comparison. Udder is not showing any signs yet.

Thanks goat junkie. She is a unique color. I like her mahogany color.

Spike- They look pretty close. I think your doe has a slighter build than mine (which I prefer). Hannah is a tank. But she is almost nine compared to your second freshener.

I am worried about my doe kidding too. She had the quads just fine but last year she had a kid with his head back and it just did not want to come forward. I hope your doe has a flawless delivery and that we both worry for nothing.

I didn't believe that was a true color I was seeing on my iPhone, but your mention that she is mahogany tells me that it IS the color I'm seeing. She is beautiful!

I thought 150 was the average and they could be 5 days either side? Just to add to your worries...

That's how I've always understood it & how I figure their due date. I wouldn't get worried until AFTER day 155.

Yes she is a mahogany color. I honestly don't know where she came from. I guess her dam had splashes but she was a light color brown. Her paternal granddam was a red with spots all over...

She throws mostly very flashy kids and a few very plain kids lol. Solid browns and light browns with frosted ears. She has also had black and white flashy kids. She has never thrown her dark mahogany color though I wish she would.

We will see what she has. I will let you all know. Triplets certainly wouldn't surprise me, she just dosen't seem big enough.

Yep 150 days is average. So she definately could go earlier. lol Yes, add to my worries. She takes forever to kid though and I know her signs so I doubt I will miss it. Just hope it goes smoothly. She is the doe that makes me nervous about kidding.
