What kind of goats are my goats?

Silly question I know. My hubby came home with these goats one day out of the blue a few years ago. His co worker had said they are pygmy???. They had a bunch of kids and well he didn't want to keep all of them so he gave them to my husband. Of course Our children were happy "Oh cool baby goats!" Well we had babies this year and a few last year. from those original goats. I have no idea if they really are pygmy or mixed with something else. I enjoy the heck out of them! They are the most fun creatures. They are in heat year round so they have to be something in that group that falls in to the year round heats. I do milk the white one. She is a good milker so far this is the first year I have milked any of them! I love them no matter what they are. but I am curious to what they really might be. We got them to be brush eaters. They sure do a great job at that! Thanks in advance for your help. Hope I can get these pics attached.

Here are some of this years kids. The one in the tutu is a bottle baby her mama rejected her. She is a barn goat by day and house goat by night.

Pygmy/Nigerian heritage, that's for sure . They may be purebreds and not bred to standard, or crosses. Impossible to say. They are of pygmy or nigerian heritage, however.

Pymgy, Nigerian or some percentage of both, they sure do look healthy and happy and that's the best kind of goat!

Let me say first that I have no experience with goats, but the white one looks a lot like pictures I have seen of Savannahs. I guess it is too small and the ears aren't right, though.

Now all you real goat people can have a laugh at my expense

Thanks everyone for your input! I appreciate it so much! They are spoiled rotten! Heaven help us with bottle babies they are the most adorable little love bugs. The tutu wearing one is Pippy. We found her in the barn still in her sac. Her little ear was nearly torn in two we think her mama accidentally stepped on her. She got a roaring infection in that ear despite keeping it as clean as possible but we did manage to save it and there is circulation in in the tip of it but I was sure I was going to have to amputate it. So now she has a floppy ear. it just adds to her unique cuteness. I am amazed how many different colors they can be born when the parents are so different looking than the babies!

I would guess Pygmy/ nigerian crosses but like Blue Run farm said they look happy & healthy & they serve your purpose for you & your family, well cared for & loved so that's all that's important. Nice to get some milk for your family isn't it?
They are all adorable!

Oh yes fresh milk is the most wonderful thing! I made ice cream with it for my daughter who is very allergic to regular cow milk. She was so tickled to have ice cream that was safe for her to eat!

I'll agree on the Nigerian/pyg cross, but I think they are a little more toward the Nigerian side and maybe a tiny bit of Nubian-some of them have a little bit of an airplane ear (black kid, bottom left).

They look like...ummm..."well conditioned" Nigerian Dwarfs to me. Maybe a bit of Pygmy there, but they are *heavy* on the ND.
