My New Baby!

I just got back from a hellacious trip to Tempo Aquila Alpines to pick up a new, very exciting doeling! We are all home and safe (hubs is sick now though), and this baby is just what I need to cure the winter blues. Her dam is Tempo Aquila Free Spindle and her sire is Redwood Hills Jazz Rimrock. Here she is!

The red spot is a scrape that I noticed the morning after picking her up, not sure how it happened, but it seems to be healing fine.

She's a little doll & I'm sorry your trip was so bad. She makes up for it though.

We had to stop at the mechanic TWICE...but for the same problem, and they got it fixed right the second time. I think she was worth it too.

She's having some issues now...

She started not taking the bottle well a couple days ago, and has progressively gotten worse about it. She is very hungry, and she now drinks like crazy for a minute and then stops. I palpated her abdomen, and I can feel some sort of little mass in there. My father-in-law, who is a vet, felt it tonight as well. I just tubed some mineral oil in her, and hoping that will break whatever it is up. I'm very worried about her. She is still bright and active, so that's a plus. I wonder if she might have ate a bunch of straw that is now blocking her up. She does not seem tender/sensitive on the mass that we feel. I'm at a loss. If she is not better by morning, I'll call Lauren Acton, who I got her from. I have a feeling this is going to be a long night. Anybody have any idea how long the oil should take to work? I gave her a lot, as instructed- 60 cc (2 oz).
