He's beautiful!! And trust me, being a granparent is far more rewarding than being a parent! Oh, I just want to snuggle him!

I am sure it will be a great experience. I didn't want to leave, but I have a 5 year old son and a 13 year old daughter that needed me. My daughter is 22 and the daddy was there waiting on her hand and foot. Such a sweet sight. He was crying when I came in the room. Tried to hide it, I told him he had a right to cry, he had a baby. Just let it out and not be ashamed. Then he was crying in front of me. I don't normally hug him, but he got one from me. The baby looks just like his daddy. Good thing he is a cute boy. LOL

Congratulations! I love being a Grandmother! I know you will too!

My two younger Grandbabies call me "Grammie", and my teenage Granddaughter calls me "Gramianna" (a mix of Gram and my name, Ianna.) What will your Grandson call you?

Thank you all. Yes, my daughter is very pretty. bad thing.....she knows it. LOL You can't tell now, but she looks almost the same as I did as a young woman. God how I have gotten sooooooo old. LOL
I am hoping that Klaus will call me Nannie. It has always been a special grandma name in our family. And because I am just too young and hip to be a Grannie, Grandma, etc. That is for the other side of his family. LOL I am actually older than the other grandma. But I am way more interesting with all the animals and exciting knowledge of fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and ways to get kids to use their imagination. After all. I have more experience, my youngest is 5.
