Kid under bite question

I have some 5 day old Boer duelings the one has under bite.
I am not familiar with and under bite how do i tell if it is severe
would I have to put it down if it is severe?
Also with this doe she seems to be plugged in one nostril or well
when we are bottle feeding her milk foams up in nostril and mouth
Yalls input would be appreciated .

Actually, that sounds like a palate problem if milk is coming out of her nose.

If she raises out, she can still be for slaughter. I would NOT sell her as a breeding animal or keep her for breeding. Under/Overbites are to be strongly discriminated against in every breed of goat. It hinders grazing/eating ability.

open her mouth and check the roof of her mouth for a cleft palate (anything from a small *hole* to a long, gaping opening running the length of the roof of her mouth)... that deformity could go along with the *underbite*... wondering if she has an overbite instead?

((if you google image "cleft palate in goats" ... there are several really good photos))
