A doeling!

So if my girls are done then I was right for a change the first born buckling was the only one and the rest were girls, lol. So three girls and one boy, I am not sure if it is stress or what but I have never had so few kids out of my girls. At this time I am not complaining though.

There are two others I did not lute but they have no bag at all so if they do kid it would be March.

When I went to check on the kids I could not find the new doeling, but eventually I found her in a flower pot
I was sneaking in the weak kid in here at night, bottling her, taking her to the farm in the morning while I worked but when this doe kidded I used goo and had her take her. So far it seems to be going well. Her and her sister do have frost bitten ears

congrats!!! So the tube feeding brought the one little girl around for you?

I wish my empty flower pots would sprout useful things like kids.

Flower might be a good name for her

Yes the tubing worked on that little girl, I had to only do it twice before she took the bottle. Unfortunately I must not have used enough goo on her because the next day the doe refused to feed her. I can sneak her in from behind while her kid nurses but I am back to bottling. I have to run there four times a day to feed her since I do not want to keep sneaking her in here at night. She never minded being put in a tote and going through the window well though lol.

But on a happy note the dang insurance company is letting me put a mobile home out there. I hope it can be moved super soon!
