This pic just melts my heart <3

I know many of you have probably seen it on my blog or FB farm page (it's also my avatar), but I just love this photo. It's my granddaughter, then 2.5, meeting Dora's triplets for the first time last year.

Can you tell I'm getting "kid fever" in a bad way? LOL

Beautiful picture. I love the calico markings on the kid in front.

Thanks! I was so happy to see that one - LOVE the markings - until I checked and found it was a buckling - figures, huh?

Yup, I think it is a survival thing, they come out as cute and sweet as possible so they are not sold or eaten

My daughter would have an entire herd of wethers if I let her! When she was younger she named them and taught them tricks so I would let them stay. Didn't work lol.

Doesn't that make you sick? I had two of the most gorgeously marked bucklings last spring and one plain white doeling with a white twin buckling.
Precious picture.

wonderful picture...can't wait until Zade is big enough to really get down and enjoy the goat kids ( first gtandbaby...he lives here on the farm) he is 7 months old today.. he goes out (in a bofa wrap) and rides along as his momma does chores...love the idea of him growing up here on the farm, among the critters.

Ha! My sister now has a herd of Nigies - all wethers. My mother raises Nigies, and my sister fell in love with the gorgeous male babies, so now she has 2 from 2 years ago, and 2 from last year... She'll probably take another 2 this year. *lol* Those males... They are always so pretty!
