It felt weird!

This morning was the first day since March 28 of 2011 that I haven't milked. Snicket and Mudge combined were down to only about a pint, so, since I found out yesterday that they are for sure bred, I just quit milking.

We just got back from a walk and they really seemed to like it today. We are having a heat wave and the wild roses are putting out leaves. There is also lots of wild honeysuckle out there which, according to my girls, is very delicious.

It is kind of sad, isn't it? The passing of a season always seem sad to me.

As of this morning..I can fully relate. And yes, I'm sad, but my hands were good with it as it just turned cold again.

I can relate also. I miss my milk.

I wonder what the goats think when you stop milking!?

Snicket has been really lovey today...she's usually sort of aloof. Maybe she's missing our alone time!
Sherry in Iowa likes this.
