Age and Reality... Surprise!

I've been on the farm all my life and have always been a good observer and kept good records, however...

Had a doe kid a single buckling yesterday... her due date was Jan. 27.
Had another doe throw twins today... her due date was Jan. 25

I've got another doe due Feb. 2, so I reckon I'll be checking on her all day tommorow... and yes, she looks like she has dropped into position.

It's a good thing that they kidded in this strangely warm weather but I'm starting to think it might be time for me to get out of the business if I can't predict my due dates any better than this.

Text probably too small on your calendar or calculator. I've been having trouble with that sort of thing myself.

None of you are getting any sympathy from me, sorry. You want to talk about small font? I'm on an iPhone. :/

Sorry but it's not my eye sight thats failing me... It's my memory Did I latch the gate? Did I turnoff the water at the barn, Did I shut the barn door ? Did I feed all the kids? I have to double check everything before I leave the house... Got 4 mile from the house this week going to work and realized I forgot my bottom front partial.

Just time for new glasses, not time for you to get out of the business! Congrats on the healthy new babies too but where's the pictures?

OK. You win!

(But only because I don't have a partial to forget, I assure you!)

That isn't too bad... at least you knew where to find them! I lost mine somewhere between the bathroom and the kitchen (about four years ago)... they haven't been seen since!

I spent an extra $300 last time, and my laptop is like those on TV, I expand my fingers on the mousepad, and the size on the screen gets huge. I can see everything!!! I recommend for any other cross-eyed-farsighted users. Amazing.

Oh, BTW, this is the third day in a row with kids being born... the doe that was due on Feb. 3 just offered up a single doeling this morning.

Maybe I should take up knitting... I'll string up some picture in the morning. I do have to say this bunch is much larger/heavier than any year previous.
