Chronic Cough or Pneumonia???

Doeling born last Easter has developed a congested cough. Seems like every half hour or so, or if she's been laying down and gets up she'll have a productive cough. Usually just a single cough to clear her throat. No temperature. Otherwise bright eyed and healthy. This has been going on for over 2 months.

Concerned it may be chronic (viral?) pneumonia. Had a Boer X Kiko doe who did the same thing until last fall when she got caught in a rainstorm with a plummetting temperature. She went from "healthy" to dead in about 36 hours with total pneumonia and severe hypothermia (<97F). The rest of the herd was shivering, but otherwise healthy. We brought her home from pasture about 12 hours after the storm began and tried to warm her, but were unable to save her.

Thoughts? Ideas? This is a last, desperate plea for help. She's already on track to be fattened for the meat market (i.e. culled).

I thought about that with the older doe . . . She received Ivomec 2x with no change. Should I have used Ivomec+?

The link above says Ivomec injectable given orally. Not sure what the strength of your ivermectin is but they aren't all the same as far as the % of medication in them.
I keep the Ivomectin Plus injectable here.

Have you tried wormer this doe for Lung worms? 2 months is a long time to have a cough from pneumonia. If pneumonia I would think she would be gone by now.

Yes, I believe it is the medicine that the plus stands for in the Ivormec that gets lungworm (not 100% on that, but I think so...I know it get liverfluke). And I would think a cough that long from pneumonia would have killed her or she would get better. Sometimes goats just cough though, but a productive cough indicates something going on in there. Maybe she had pneumonia, got better on her own, and is now left with some scar tissue?
