Confused on canning milk.

Hi guys..I've never canned milk before. But, I have to dry Peachy up the last of this month. So, I was reading on the Internet..gave that up to come here where I trust info. The recipes I read were vague and missing info. As in pounds of pressure and times for canning it. Some looked like they came out caramel colored, while others turned out white.

Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated. I have five quarts in the frig and will be able to have a canner load of quarts after tomorrow morning.

Thanks in advance!

The USDA does not recommend home canning any dairy products. Some do it anyways, but it is not recommended. It'll be hard to find any reliable info on it.

Here's an article about it. Can you freeze the milk instead?

Waterbath for an hour. You can pressure can, but it has a darker color and is 'rubbery'. I use it for animal feed and occasionally will bake with it. Taste is a little different from commercially canned, IMHO.
