A few pictures from this morning

Had a little bit of snow & everyone with all the pictures the last few days inspired me to take my camera out this morning when I went out for chores.

The 1st is Daisey, our F1 Mini nubian. This will be her 3rd freshening in April.

Then is Moose, he's our fat wether & Daisey's 1st born.

Next is our 2 Mini nubians we bought this past summer, Frances & Isabelle. They are 7 months old now.

Couldn't forget the 2 boys on the other side of the Barn. Augustus (Gus) is the mini nubian & our buck & the silky fainter is Bentley.

Thought I'd throw 1 of the ducks heading out to see if they could get on the pond & then last is the Gunnea's, I guess they decided there was too much snow for them & went back in the barn.

I love your goaties. The one with the head sticking through the fence is to flipping cute!!! I miss having ducks so much. We use to have them back when I lived in Kentucky. We have talked about building a pond for a few years now, its on the list along with about 10000 other things lol.

Your goats are beautiful! I like Daisy's white spots. They look intentional, like someone painted them on!

That's our new herdsire & he's pretty stinky but I think he still thought he was going to get a Kiss. He's a real sweetie & so is Bentley. You need some ducks Donna, they really are so comical!

GoatJunkie, her mother had so many moon spots it was hard to tell the color of her body from the spots. We Love Daisey, well we really Love them all!

Oh, your herd has such pretty colors!

LOL at the feathered footballs! We go back and forth on whether or not to get guineas again. They do eat ticks, but they are not survivors.

BTW: Nice ducks, too! Are you breeding the Rouens, or are they just for looks?

Our Guinnea's we bought as adults & we have had them 2 years this coming april. We did loose 2 hens setting on 2 different nests late this summer to a fox though. After that I started rousing them off & wouldn't let them set anymore.

The 2 males you see are a Trout Runner drake & a Welsh Harlequin drake. Look the same in colors but Bugger(the trout) isn't stretched up like normal. The darker females are also Trout runners & the lighter ones are welsh hen's.
Then Delilah is the White crested hen. I have a couple Indian runner hens but they are a little ways out of the picture.

All our ducks are egg layers. We get an egg a day from them but right now I don't give them a light so no duck eggs here right now. Usually they will start again near the end of this month.
