I just got more info. The one who called me is a vet. She was out treating the woman's other goat who was being treated for heavy parasites. She didn't make it and now this one is alone.
The surviving one was tested and had only a small parasite load and was treated and is doing well.
She is actually nearly a year old (the vet used the words, born this year, so I thought it was a bottle baby no more than a month old).

In your backyard. She's in lockport.

I have a call into her to call me back.

Ill pass your number on to you if you want- FYI! she's not tested for CAE!
I was going to take her and isolate her for testing and go from there.
CL was where she would have ended up with me; I have LMs and starting a mini mancha herd, I've no desire for toggenbergs.

Let me know.

I happen to be in Tennessee, but I have friends in the area. If I can get ahold of one of them to pick it up till it can be moved here, then evryone is great. I like toggenbergs, though I'm good with Nubians and Alpines, which seem more abundant. A toggenberg would be a super bonus. My email is bobhuntress@gmail.com i can give my number by email, if it is still available.
