Jaz kidded.

My 11 month lamancha mix kidded this morning. Baby was mostly dry & standing when I made it out for chores. She has a single boy. I'll take pics in a couple hours.

Okay, I took pictures. As soon as I figure out how, I'll post them. The baby is doing great. He's up at already trying to bounce around. I managed to milk 1/2 ounce of colostrum from her. She has tiny teats, I'm guessing they're more like nigerian teats.

He's a cute little dude! Is mom a mini-mancha? Her teats will get bigger with milking in either case.

Momma is an oberhasli/saanen x lamancha cross. She's about 85 lbs right now. I need to weigh her again. I actually didn't realize the buck got her, until she built a little udder at Thanksgiving. The buck is a Boer/kiko cross, so I'm just thankful everything went fine.

Cute Baby! Did you get the coat from Sheryl Dunsmoor? I ordered a bunch but haven't received mine yet. I hope they're as cute as yours.

Yes, I did. I really like the coat, it has leg straps to keep it from slipping.
