Chaffhaye!!

Not only did I find a Chaffhaye dealer out here in the middle of nowhere, but they go right past me on their way to the neighboring town to visit family and are more than happy to drop off loads of of Chaffhaye at my house!

And, if it gets to where they can't drop it off, it won't be a huge issue since they aren't too far away. We just won't be able to pick up large loads of it. I am so stoked that we finally have a place to get hay!

Linda Powell is her name. She has Powell Ranch.

And goats will be coming home this spring. Sooner than we planned, but with a consistent (and cheaper no less!) supply of hay and alfalfa, it will work out great. We are going to keep it simple at just the two does, no bucks, until we get moved sometime in the next two or three years. And when we move, they can move with us.

And...there is a really, really, really exciting part to this!

They lady who bought Belly Bean and Missy is selling them back to us!!!!!! It turns out that as much as she loves Belly Bean, Belly isn't doing well in a large herd and unless she is kept separated she keeps getting pushed away from the food too much. And where they like Missy, they haven't clicked with her, so they offered to sell them back!

So, first we find dealer for Chaffhaye right out here by us and then we get offered our goats back. Its surreal but wonderful!. We will pick Missy and Bella up after they kid this spring.

Perfect! That is exciting! I was hoping that is what you were going to say. Next time tell the dog to hurry. I was dying of suspense.

For those of you who are new (and those that are not but just like pics) these are my girls. I have missed them SO much and I'm unbelievably happy to be able to get them back.

It's already beginning, two aren't even home yet and there "might" be a third coming too lol.

Congrats, I am so glad you are getting two of your girls back and maybe another couple of goats or some babies and then you can post pictures in the Spring of your four/five goats

The possible third is only because we are not sure Missy has settled. She has never gotten pregnant before so don't know if there is a problem with her or not.
