so much for our BLIZZARD??!! pics

for days they are been warning that our area was going to get significant snow fall (white out conditions ect)...I made sure to draw up extra water (in case the power went out). Turned the light on in the well house, to keep things from freezing.. hunkered down for the *storm*.. did we get snow? sure, some.. just enough to make the does want to stay in the barn lot..(sheep headed out to the meadow anyway).. not much snow, it is however sunny & bright today, so it made for some decent pictures..

some of the big does standing in the barnlot yesterday and this morning
the doeling pen .. our **HUGE** sheep flock braving the *blizzard* LOL

I opened the barn door this morning, and they poked their heads out but wouldn't actually go out. I believe the look they gave me was their way of saying. "are you crazy?!?"

I'm just glad it didn't get bad. I had to come to work today. Roads were slick but not awful. Should pretty well be gone off the highways by the time I have to come home !!!
I got out yesterday and boarded up some stuff. Cleaned the chicken house out and fed extra hay. That was about the extent of my preparation. The ones you have to watch for is when they are predicting flurries, then you get a foot. P.S. West Plains didn't even get near what we have. Just a dusting up here !!!

We have 3' drifts down here. Fortunately, they're melting.

Nice pictures Susie & more snow than I would figure you'd get where you live. The snowy pictures look like Michigan this year.
Mine don't mind the snow but won't come out if it's real windy.
