OT....But

I wanted to share with my goatie friends. My oldest DS and his wife are expecting a baby girl at the end of February which is exciting. This will be their 3rd child.

My youngest DS surprised us at our Christmas gathering yesterday with the news that he and his GF are expecting in August. I am excited........but not. I can't wait to spoil another baby but they are so not ready for a baby. But, neither was my oldest son and his wife either.....My family tree is growing

Who else has new grandbabies and family members expected in the new year?

We are expecting a granddaughter in January. Katie will be the new baby sister to our grandson, Cole.

LOVING IT... this was the first yule in 25 years that there was a baby in the house.. I had forgotten how wonderful/magickal the season is with wee ones about....

a few pics from monday night (zade is 6months old and being more joy every day) Mr. Zade wearing his santa hat... opening presents.. cuddling with yaya.. wondering why Santa looks so much like PawPaw??? LOL

Congrats to all!

Katie is a GREAT name! It was the name of my own grandmother so I named my second daughter Katie too. My dad was so thrilled! I never knew my grandmother as she died before I was born. (My dad was 46 when I was born...see, older parents runs in my family, or maybe we just love children. I started to say kids but caught myself.)

BTW, I am NOT expecting in the new year. ('91, '93, '95, '97, '99, '02, '03, '05, '07, '09, '10, '12...I think I am taking this one off )

You probably saw the brand new baby in my family! Excited for you! This is my second niece, but I was very young and far away from the first one. This is one has made me understand the excitement of new baby expecting!

We have 5 grandbabies under the age of 4! (2 belong to our son's best friend who has basically lived with us since he was 9yo, so they count too!) Our DIL is expecting baby #2(GB #6) in May. DH is hoping they have a boy to carry on the family name. But either way, this babe will be very special, the poor girl has had 4 miscarriages.

Your other babies are simply precious! Never thought I would be ready for it, but I love being "Granny"!!

Congrats on all the new grandbabies expected this year to our Goat family members Carla & Alice.

Of course I'm partial to the name Katie so I think that's a perfect name. Carla my birthday is at the end of February so maybe she'll be born on my birthday!1

Susie, I can't believe how big Zade is getting already. Seems like you were just posting PG pictures of Jessie & then telling us when he was born!

Congrats Carla and Alice!

I am NOT expecting new grandbabies this year, and for that, I am grateful! ~smiles~ I am a grandmother 2x over, and my daughter needs to take a break.

Caliann, your daughter still has time to present you with a new grandbaby in 2013.....

I honestly dread watching my youngest son and his girlfriend trying to figure out how to raise a baby. You should see them with a 3 month old, hyperactive puppy.......

I love the name Katie but knowing my kids they will name them some odd names.

Yarrow, your grandson is adorable. You look like you are feeling much better. I hope you have a wonderful New Year.
