They are home :)

The husband picked up my nubians yesterday, they all settled in and werent screaming once they were all back together. He had to walk them up to their area from the driveway one by one and said they sounded like he was killing them on the way up. My herd queen is beyond friendly and the first one at the gate when you come up. The boys are a bit more apprehensive. I didnt run up to check them last night because they were settled in and I didnt want to bother them and stress them more. This morning I brought them fresh water and a handful of animal crackers. Heidi the queen was of course right there, Winter came out and had a few and 2 out of 3 of the boys had some as well. The one little guy sniffed but wasnt quite sure he was going to take it. They all ate well last night when hubby fed them before I got home. I dont get home until after dark and they will already be fed so I will get some pics tommorow when I am home. I am so excited I almost called in to work so I could spend the day with them.

They are still very nervous that we are trying to kill them. The girls are a bit better than the boys, I have one boy who runs away and wont even think about a cookie because I am trying to poison them. Their feet are awful. Heidi ( the obvious herd queen) has the worse of the bunch. I just want to give them time to settle more and trust me more before I stress them by doing their feet. I may have the vet come for the first trimming. Here are a couple of pics to start

They are very pretty girls & I'm sure they'll settle right in & be very lovable in no time with a little patience & More Cookies.
Keep it up they will come around.

The goat in last picture has obviously had her picture taken before. She already knows the typical goat pose. Or he. They are all very cute.

thanks the one in the last pic is the shyer girl Winter, she thought my phone was a bigger animal cracker she is the same one as in the first pic with one of the boys not sure if they wanted to venture out or not. The middle one is Heidi the herd queen and she knows it.
