If you are lurking because you are on the fence about goats, don't worry we are quite capable of dragging you onto our side of the fence.

We have a lot more lurkers since the new owners of HT took over. I think maybe they might be from the Goatspot & checking us out to see if they want to come here instead!
A few days there were over 300 viewing.

No reason they can't do both.

We're pretty friendly here.

And we're the best goat enablers ever!!!

The new photo attachments somehow boost our totals. The number of lurkers roughly corresponds to how many views a photo has had. I dont know all the techie stuff behind this but that is what is happening.
They are 'ghosts' .

Everyone is welcome here, even goat oogling phantom lurkers.

I lurked here for about a year before finally joining a few months ago. Then, I joined and ever commented or started any threads until quite recently. I must say, the goat forum is the most loving, supportive, and fun of them all- coming from a relative outside. I thought I wanted to get into cows... I like my cows, but I am slowly but surely turning into an absolute goat freak!

I guess I'm out of the loop. HT has new owners? When did that happen?

Not exactly sure but it's been a month or two. They've introduced themselves on a couple different threads in different forums, 1 of them was here but can't remember the thread. The 1 has goats too!
I guess Chuck is just really busy but will still be part of HT but he travels so much & must just not have as much time to put in here as he'd like. I think he's still going to be a moderator though I think I read.
