one mod change - adding rileyjo

As you may have noticed - cjb has become a Countryside Families mod due to various reasons that work for him.

In his place, rileyjo is going to be your mod. She's still modding rabbits, but she really knows goats - so this seemed a good fit.

I hope all of you will welcome her as mod to this forum.

Thanks,
Angie

Hi Folks! Thanks for the welcome.

Moderating a board means spending a lot of time reading the threads. Lives change and CJB had less time to do this and I have more. He is still around to help me out. This board moves along fairly fast and it takes time to read to read it all thoroughly every day.

This is such a great place. I think you do a huge favour to goats by taking the time to educate those new people who get a goat and expect to be able to tie it up in the yard and feed it tin cans. CJB posted some rules at the top of the page. I cant improve on that in any way and I'd like folks to keep those rules in mind when they are responding to others.

I love goats. They are my favourite farm animal by far. We are going to have so much fun with these new photo attachments. I am looking forward to seeing lots of bellies, babies, goo and udders this kidding season.

I am no better than CJB at determining whether goats are pregnant. My Boers drove me nuts last year with this.
