Happy, excited and a little nervous!

So remember how I posted a post, that I'm not a Lamancha person, not attracted to the breed at all. A bunch of you said how she was a good looking doe, etc well bred, and some of you were wanting to get her....

Guess who is standing in my goat shed right now

I fell in love the moment I saw her, ears or no ears lol. She is NOT as big as she looks in the first picture, that must be a kid holding her. I have never seen a Lamancha before other than in pictures so I don't know if that is a good size or not lol. I took her collar off, she has a mark from it and I dont keep them on my goats in the shed.
She has a lot more colors in her than comes out on camera, a lot of golden, black, white, etc.

She is also a HAM for the camera, when I brought it out, she stopped munching hay and took up a pose for me, every time I put the camera to my face lol. Her call name is Dawn, not sure why it isn't Lily or something, and she is very curious about things and friendly. Not so much with the wethers yet though.

She is also bred (hopefully!) to this guy, a Nigerian dwarf, so that means the kids would be F1 minimanchas , yes? Be prepared for lots of questions and worry if she is...lol

Congratulations! I'm not a huge Lamancha fan either, but she is truly lovely. And what a striking Nigerian buck! They should have wonderful kids. :o)

She has a beautiful head, I cannot wait to see what she has. You will fall in love with LaManchas. I have not met one person who has not just fell head over heels in love.

Congrats on the buy! I bet she'll win you over, I love the kids with no ears. Too cute.

I don't have any purebreds, but I love my boers with LaMancha ears. I have 75% doe and her 88% daughter both with Munchie ears.

Interestingly enough, I posted a boer cross doe for sale, and the 75%boer/25% munchie doe happened to be in the background. I got several inquiries - all asking about the lamancha eared doe who was not for sale.

She is beautiful! Can't wait to see her babies. How big do F1 Mini-manchas usually get?

I'm not a Big Lamancha fan either but she sure looks like a real sweetheart from her pictures. Looking forward to seeing pictures of her kids too. I bet they are going to be adorable!

Alice you can always have a kid shipped on a plane if Dawn has 1 you just can't live without!
