Hubby Update - Nov 20

The social worker called and told me that Hubby was wanting to be out by the end of the week. Scared me to pieces. Emailed sons. Navy son said there should be "performance based exit criteria" instead of him just deciding to come home. Gotta love sons with military vocabularies.

I called social worker and director of the facility. Much discussion. Phone calls. Emails to sons. Phone calls. Anxiety. I'm afraid he will come home too soon and fall.

Brought him home for supper on a short pass, and HE says that he said he wanted to be home FOR Thanksgiving, not BY Thanksgiving. Much discussion.

I think we have it hashed out now. He's staying till everyone agrees he is safe and they come up with a checklist of performance based exit criteria.

Whew, that was probably very stressful! He will heal better at home but the odds of him doing something he isn't ready to do is higher also. His day is coming soon.

Tell him to keep up the good work!
