Has anybody seen the movie Goats?

Was watching this with the boyfriend (it's on netflix) and I'm struck by the female goat that is called Frieda in the movie.

She looks JUST like my Kessa. She's a sundgau, but she does NOT have the traditional white ears (the inside fuzz is white, the outside of the ear is black though). She also has leg stripes, and less white than a traditional sundgau - the butt triangle isn't great, face stripes are thin. Traditional sundgaus don't have black leg stripes either.

Here's MY girl, Kessa (notice her leg stripes):

And my big dork Tux (wether) from the same bloodlines, and is the same color (notice his black ears)

I've only ever seen this color from the herd I got my girls from, which are old line French Alpines. I'd be VERY interested in finding out that girls' bloodlines, just to know if my girls are related to a movie star.
April likes this.

I've seen it. I was quite impressed that they got goats, and goat packing (as far as the gear and stuff goes), mostly right. I'm not sure you could just sneak across the border with Mexico with a couple of goats, though.

Interesting movie ... not a kid safe movie, LOL, but an interesting cast of characters.

(Edit: And I'd love to know where they got the goats, too. They reminded me a lot of alpines I used to pack -- who I did not get from the breeder -- and I'd love to have more like them.)
