Our Nigerian Dwarf had quintuplets!

our 3 yr old Nigerian Dwarf gave birth to quintuplets on Monday, 3 bucklings and 2 doelings. The last buckling born didn't make it though we worked on him for quite a while.

I hesitated to post this as you all want pics, but I still cannot get photobucket to work for me and I gave up, lol

this little doe started out with triplets her first time, then has always had quads, I never expected quintuplets tho.

just wanted to share the fun news.

Congratulations on all the babies! Wow! Sorry to hear about the buckling.
Get that Photobucket thing figured out. It didn't happen without pics to prove it!

Congratulations, although it's sad that you lost the buckling. We have one ND that the first time we bred her she gave us twins. The second time she gave us triplets. I'm almost afraid to breed her again. LOL

Congratulations on the healthy quads. I am so sorry about the last little buckling. maybe he was the runt & just wasn't strong enough to make it!

If you want to email your pictures to me & I think I can then copy & paste them here send me a PM & I'll see what I can do.

Congratulations! ND babies are the cutest thing on the planet. You have to have the picture thing fixed. We go into DT's if we hear about babies and then no pictures!

Congratulations!

We have had a couple sets of quints and last year a set of sextuplets(4 bucks 2 does) which were all good sized and all survived. I was really happy when that doe just had twins this year!
