We are back and I have pictures.

We got home yesterday around 4:30 from the fair then had to feed, water, and unpack the truck. So by the time that happened we had to run to watch the nephew race mirco minis. So sorry I didn't post sooner.

Chime got 4th in her class and Carma got 5th in her class (they showed in the same class) Cherry got 4th in her class. Which did not hurt my feelings because again who bet me was our breeder and got half my entry money back. All in all it was a good show and I had fun. It was actually nice to sit back and relax and not worry about anything having to be painted, or which floor still needed to be ripped out (back to real life today ).

Night one Cherry is still with the baby girls in a large pen. By day two I had to move her alone. She was a royal pain in the hinny.

The last night Cherry has had enough. She was sound asleep like that for hours.

Carma could not understand why while he could be loving on her he chose to sleep.

Then she REALLY didn't understand why he let a puppy wake him up and he chose to love on the puppy instead of her. Oh she was NOT happy!!!

Cherry looks all toed out but shes really not. This was the last day and she wanted NOTHING to do with standing there. Her and Chime were horrible to make stand. I actually have to retake their pictures because I really do not like the way they look in any of them lol.

Eric and myself's vacations use to be once a year we would go to Austin Texas to a huge motorcycle rally called ROT Rally but since the goats came our vacations are the fairs, and goat shows. I can honestly say I love the shows better. I still love Harleys and we still have ours I would just rather go to the goat shows then a rally now... never thought I would say that.

BEAUTIFUL babies you have there, and I am so glad that you had such a good time at the show!

But I have to ask:

Just what does a truck look like when it is thirsty and is taking a long drink from the water trough?

Why yes it does, and water runs down his grill when he is done.

Oh Carma is a hoot!!! She knows how to have Eric wrapped around her little hoof so well.

Wintrrwolf- Showing is so easy!!! The only thing you have to worry about is of course the health of your animals. You run that chance when show, but for us I need someone else to put their hands on them and tell me what they see in them. I do not trust my eyes enough to not have herd blindness. Also I showed dogs and once you are bit by that show bug it never leaves you.

I love that shows (for the most part) are laid back. You go show and the rest of the time you sit around and hang out with friends. I laughed so much the four days we were there my stomach ached. I have also learned so much about goats from sitting back and listening to others talk at the show.
