Got our Replamin today!

Question: one of our does appears extremely deficient. I've copper bolused and offered right now onyx and she still looks awful. I know that I can give it to her daily for a week and then once a week. Is the daily dose still 5cc?

Yes, the daily dose is still 5cc. HOWEVER, only give it to her, a maximum, of 3 days in a row, and then start your weekly dose 4 days after that.

I put some in a regular large mouth jar and I scoop it out by the teaspoon and put it on a cracker. 1 teaspoon = 5cc's

I first tried drawing up into a syringe but that didn't work too well. messy.

I just use the knurled measuring thingy and squirt from the tube into their mouths.

I didn't buy the gun, so I cut the tip off some 6cc syringes so the hole is bigger.

Take the plunger out, & use something long enough to squirt it from the big tube into the syringe (usually use a stick, pencil or wooden cooking spoon to push it from the big tube... Whatever is close by when I'm dosing). Put the plunger back in the syringe & I'm good to go. The tip of the Replamin tube almost fits perfectly into the end of the syringe so filling them up is easy & mess free.

I have a syringe for each goat & just fill them up inside, then tote out to the barn. Some of mine suck it right out of the syringe, some don't.... Mine can be picky on treats & what they'll eat one week, they won't touch the next, so I find using the syringe is easier.
