Trouble spot in our fence. Brainstorming.
Goats are good at escaping. I have found this out. They are not good at getting back in where they belong though. Twice this weekend, I have had three of our goats approach me, with their heads down, looking ashamed, and asking for help getting back in their pasture area. I oblige only to do the same thing the next day. Our goats do not, in fact, fly over the fence as I previously thought, but they do squeeze under at the creek. Let me just point out our fence does a great job of keeping our goats in any other time, they respect the electric fence wire. There is a spot however that the fence must go over an approximatly 4 foot dip, that has a foot wide creek running through at the bottom of it. This is where they are getting out, because the grass is apparently greener on the other side... Any ideas on blocking this dip under the fence without blocking the flow of water from the creek? This is my best
illistration I can think to give you.... Maybe a pallet? or a wooden blockage type deal?
