That happens to me every year. One day, they are slender, svelte, gazelle-like creatures, and the next day it is , "Holy cow! And I do mean COW! Is she carrying a whole herd in there?!"

It gets Coooold here over those months. Why do you breed for late fall babies (just curious, not being judgemental).

Wasn't the plan, lol. We had a visit from the neighbor's buck and a fence breech of our own. Better fences next season!
ETA: It ended up working out well as we will then have someone in milk throughout the year, the little girls will be bred in a few months.

Boy, those girls are getting big real fast! Those babies will be here before you know it & hopefully it won't be too cold there yet at that time.
My goats like to steal from our rabbits when they get the chance too. Thank goodness we don't keep a lot of feed in their J feeders.

They all like to stick their big noses in the bunny cages.
I'm convinced the rabbits are secretly contemplating how
to take over the farm!! (i may need to get out more, lol)

Totally off topic but I couldn't help but think how goofy goats would look in pants with the big ole rumens and the skinny legs... I don't know why seeing pictures of your goats made me think of that.
Back to your normal program now.
Pretty goats by the way. I remember you posting about the sneaky neighbor buck when you had a watermelon belly too. Your little cutie must be getting big by now. I would look at a picture if you had one. Humans are cute sometimes too.

LOl, goats pants would make my day!
Little man was at the state fair getting assaulted by butterflies, so of course we took pics!

What a cutie!!!!!! Your girls are fixing to pop!!! I cannot wait to see the babies. If you go to my breeders website Just Because Farm and look at the pics page you can see goats in pants. Trust me it is not easy putting pants on a goat.

Of all the things to do at the state fair, the Pygmy goat exhibit and the butterfly habbitat are what made it for us!
