Dilemma over breeding issue

Yes well I guess with the bucks so close Cookie went into heat, she is still milking Candy is only 2 months.
Here's the deal I was trying to get Skittles out to put with Cookie and Shaq, BamBam, and Monkey got out too. Shaq made a beeline straight for Cookie and got her before I could stop it, I grabbed Cookie and ran for the pen got her and Pawnee in the pen, while the boys were chasing Pearl and Pebbles. Then grabbed Pebbles, Pearl, and Candy and lifted them over the cattle panel fence of the pen. (Breath)
Boys are pacing the fence now and I managed to get ahold of Skittles and lifted him up and over, climbed the fence and while Skittles was romancing Cookie got Pawnee, Pebbles, Pearl, and Candy out and into doe area.
Skittles got Cookie good 2-3 times then she was done with it and wanted out.
So got her out one gate, shut gate, went over and let the boys in the other gate, shut it, climbed fence.
So dilemma is Cookie mini saanen got bred by Shaq nubian and Skittles mini saanen....
I wanted the breeding between Cookie and Skittles but now she also has some Shaq sperm in there too. Should I let it go or call a vet for some lute

Well......in a case like that I usually let the breeding stand. You will know whos kids they are when they hit the ground. And she shouldn't have problems with Nubian kids unless he is known for throwing monsters??

But I guess that all depends on your goals.

I hate when two different bucks of the same breed get one doe......then you can either abort or just not register the kids. Stinks.

Well I figure Cookie isn't registered and neither is Skittles I am carrying them more for the small backyard milkers/pets. Shaq is a big boy himself so was a little worried about baby size. Wondering though it is possible isn't it her having a one of each? That would be kinda funny...

Oh, VERY possible. I had a buck breakout one year. An Alpine, two Nubians a Boer and a Lamancha broke out with my entire doe herd(80 head at the time). Five months later one of my Purebred Nubians had two Purebred Nubian kids and an Alpine!! See if I can find those pictures......

Friend had my Boer buck and my Nubian buck over to do her 2 groups of girls. The Boer was young and uncertain, so one of hers broke out and went to visit the Nubian buck... You guessed it! One of each and, man, was it obvious LOL

excuse the coming down chicken wire that was put up while my daughters puppy was here not that it did any good.
There is live wire between the barbless wire which my goats are well aware of.
I was hoping to get the sound of Shaq growling but nope ...

Ya know, I was just wondering if goats could have dual sired litters like dogs can....

When I raised Chinese Cresteds, my neighbor who breeds chi-weenies and refuses to contain them, let her dogs out to "run in the feild" (not *her* feild mind you)....

Anywho, her nasty lil mutt CLIMBED my fence & tagged my Champion crested girl, who I had just let outside! Lil booger was FAST! Worst part was, we had just had a surgical AI done with some nice semen from France so I had to let the pregnancy stay & DNA tested all the pups.....Of course, the lil powderpuff with the flawless coat that I just loved turned out to be the mutt's pup! (Dunno how he got such a nice powderpuff coat)......

Will ADGA accept kids from 2 different sires, from the same litter if there is DNA test proving it? Say 2 Nubian bucks get the same doe & it results in twins, one from each sire...... Will ADGA register them? Anyone ever do a DNA test to prove (on paper) different sires sired kids in the same litter?

Anywho...... Sorry for the thread drift..... Have you had kids from your Nubian buck before? If he throws small kids & you don't mind the breeding, then I'd leave it be...... But if you think his kids may be too big for her, I'd abort just to be safe....

I once had an alpine/nubian doe jump through the barn window into a pen of 5 bucks. She presented us with twins, one Nubian and one LaMancha. That little earless doeling turned out to be one of the best girls I ever had.

I think ADGA does have a DNA test thing available.

Any multiple birth that is not an identical twin in any mammal _can_ have a different sire, including humans. If a dog has 10 puppies, it is technically feasible that all can have different sires if there were 10 males to breed her. Told a woman that once and she looked at her dog and called it a floozy LOL

And, in the same vein, 10 males can breed her but all the offspring come from one male.
