Nubian Buck On Craigslist

Was just perusing Craigslist and found this guy. I really like him, needs slightly longer ears, but I like him. I am not in the market for a buck(of ANY breed) and don't want to waste their time by asking about registration, bloodlines, etc, just to satisfy my nosiness. But in case anyone is looking for a buck?? If you don't mind, let me know what you find out if you e-mail them about him.

Nubian Buck

Maybe he isn't from registered stock at all, but he looks like quality to me. Looks like his collar might be too tight?? He is rather well-fed. Good looking guy!
Edited to add: He is registered, says right in the ad. How did I miss that??!!

Well, the ad SAYS he is registered, so he has to at least be an American. Can even record grade bucks.

Oooohhh, that roan girl is PRETTY!

~sighs~ DH is going to try to get us to move to Missouri, just because ya'll have better Nubians. I can see it now.

I have a young doe that looks almost exactly like that blue roan doe. And she's out of the doe I got from you! What an odd little serendipity.

I used to have a LOT of blue roans and red roans. At one time my herd used to be almost excusively black too. Its gone through a lot of changes as my bucks changed. Right now I'm highly unlikely to get a black or a blue roan anytime soon.
Remind me if you don't mind, whom did you purchase from me??

Looking at those pics again(of the blue roan doe), I think the body shot was taken either before she freshened as a young doe or as a dry doe. I'm guessing before she freshened. She is shaved and has NO udder. In the udder shot she is not shaved.

Well, I broke down and sent them an e-mail asking about his bloodlines. We'll see if they answer.

I'm guessing Frosty Marvin is probably pretty strong in there. He has that Frosty look.

I got a Tess daughter from you: Goat Detail: OZARK JEWELS LET IT BE ELFEA - N001469677 (PB Doe)

She's a wonderful lady. A bit prissy, maybe, but she certainly has a lot of really good milk. I love her dearly! Each year she's given me one roaned doeling that looks like this and one white buckling:

I thought that was who you had! After so many, my brain gets fuzzy. I love those No-Doubt does, too bad they are mostly gone now.
So glad she is doing well for you!

Have ya'll been in drought? As brown as it is in the udder pic, I'm wondering if it was when she freshened and the body shot is now and they've already dried her off.... She sure is pretty......

We have had drought and still do. That body shot is too green for this year, grass is too lush and tall. We didn't even see that this year. Course, that is in Springfield....but I think they had it really bad too. Just 70 miles west of us. I think that body shot is another year. My milking does still have *some* udder even when dry.
