Husband saved from being eaten by coyotes!

Atleast that's my LGD's side of the story!

My husband Greg was standing next to a pine tree by the RR tracks watching the coyotes coming straight towards him. As he was getting ready to line up to fire .... WWHOMPPPPP..... gets shoved down into the path. Off the coyotes go! Apparantly our HUGE komondor LGD can walk softly and knock you down very quickly! The dog is so PROUD of himself!

Sounds like you have a really good dog but it's too bad your hubby couldn't take care of a few of them before the big dog took over.

Yep, that dog deserves a steak, very rare.

We trade goats for lawn care. Dep does not like him one bit cause one of the last times he was here we loaded a pair of doelings into his truck.
Yesterday Jose came to mow, we were not home. He called to say he couldnt finish the side that's nearest the goats cause Dep was too threatening.

DH says that he would be having a difficult time NOT giving Greg a hard time about taking the wrong dog with him while hunting.

^_^ *smiles* Yes, it is steaks all around here too for such amazing feats. Especially when the neighbor's garbage truck beast has had it's weekly vanquish.

That's so funny. I had my Great Pyr in the house once and made the mistake of trying to identify a sound that I'd heard outside. I Googled coyote vocalizations and clicked on one. The dog nearly wrecked the entire house trying to get at my speakers to kill them. Before that, I would have never guessed the lazy, slobbering couch potato was capable of that level of vicious.

The hunter was the hunted! LOL

Glad there wasn't any safety issues. Maybe next time lock the heroic pooch up, don't want to make it a habit of tumbling with the firearm.

I wonder what went through your hubby's mind!?! Taking a line of sight on coyotes and then getting pounced on by a canine? LOL
