Need "T" Names...
So, Tonka's registered name is Goat Detail: TEATS-N-TAILS TONKA TOI - L001581731 (PB Buck) ....... Liked the name "Tonka" & the "Toi" came from his sire, South Fork Toi Soldier.... Didn't choose the herd name part obviously...
His daughter I kept this year is Noodleville's Trick or Treat, aka "Tricks". Her dam was "Casper" & my mom picked out the "Trick or Treat" bit as she thought she needed a ghostly/Halloween type name....
This year I'm breeding Tonka to 2 does:
Star: Goat Detail: DREAMY DELIGHTS A RISING STAR - L001507819 (PB Doe)
Mocha didn't have a name (munchkins named her after 2 weeks of calling her "new brown baby"), so her call name has nothing to do with the registered name the breeder chose: Goat Detail: DREAMY DELIGHTS CA CZZ - L001594998 (AM Doe)
Hope to get a doeling from each doe & I want all of Tonka's daughters to have "T" names..... Herd name is "Noodleville's" & I'm limited to 30 spaces....
Anyone wanna shoot ideas my direction so I can obsess, I mean, think on it occasionally all through fall?? If inspiration fails me, I may just go with Noodleville's TToi ------
Please tell me I'm not the only one who starts the name choosing so early

Out of A Rising Star: Noodleville's Toi Twilight
Out of CA CZZ (I hate folks that don't do NAMES): Teasing Tansy

Thank you!! Love them!
Yea, I hate the no name thing too .... I had wanted Mocha's dam Breezze REALLY bad...... She had the most level, long rump, lots of width & fabulous topline, plus she was a Redwood Hills Beau Charmer granddaughter (& Tonka is a Charmer grandson) but she was sold before I got up there So, I got Mocha instead, who is a *B South Fork Class Action daughter..... All his kids have the "CA" & on the does side, a few names carry the double "Z" somewhere in their name, so I guess the breeder ran out of inspiration & now Mocha is stuck with "CA CZZ"...

Maybe it is pronounced like "Kami Kazi"? I have trouble with the weird no-name names. I like to have a bit of the lineage in the name. Like Icy Pines is a nod to her great-grandmother, Italian Ice. And, of course, she has the white coloring.
I am good at making up names. A couple of writer friends would use that gift to their advantage. "Quick! I need a name for a female thief that sounds exotic and only slightly elvish!" Me: "Larunzia."

I dunno..... Breeder just called her "Breezze's doeling".
I too like to name them with a nod to their ancestors.... Tricks got all "T's" for her sire, and the Halloween bit from her dam..... Naming that way, I can always see the name & know at a glance who they came from without having to pull out pedigrees.... Did it with my dogs too..... I can still look up pedigrees on the dogs my mom used to show & breed & tell you who they are out of by name alone and these were dogs she had 16+ years ago...
Plus, names are just fun

Noodleville's Toi's Tucker
Noodlevilles A Trisket a Tasket (Call them Trisket)
Maybe for a Buck you could call him Noodlevilles Tonka's Tank & call him Tank
You can tell I'm not good at this at all. Just started getting into the registered goats this summer after all these years & both breeder's let me name all the baby's for the paper work but of course I just picked a single name I liked & it went in front of their herd name.

Oh man...... I shouldn't have posted this!!!
I like way more than just 2 name suggestions posted..... And my plan was to ONLY keep 2 Tonka daughters this year..... And now, I just want you to know, I hold y'all personally responsible if I'm forced to keep more so I can use the names!
