Preferred method of posting follow-ups

It seems like I get advice on goat health issues that require time to see through to an end, and I usually end up forgetting where the advice came from. I have had two health related posts that I would like to bring up to date before my age gets the better of me. What is the preferred mode of updating old threads? Should I just reply to the original or start a new update thread with a link to the original?

Whichever is easiest for you. We aren't particularly picky HOW you update us, we just like to know how things went.

ESPECIALLY if it is good news! Like someone is going to complain about the method you use to give us good news!

And, well, if it is bad news, and someone complains about the method you use to give it when you are heartsore...well, I will personally whack them upside the head with my #15 cast iron skillet!

My momma had a cast iron skillet. I guarantee that no one will complain when Caliann is wielding a cast iron skillet!

It's a BIG cast iron skillet! I need two hands to pick it up! In fact, it is the ONLY item of my cookware that actually has a name: she is "Bertha".

I haven't needed to cook with it since the kids moved out (when I was feeding 6, it was necessary, now that I am feeding two...), so she hangs in a place of honor on the wall...right handy if one needs a weapon!

(For those who were into A,D&D back in the day, think of her as an intelligent, +5 skillet of bludgeoning!)
