i think it is starting here too...

Billy's face and beard have a yellowish tinge to them and yesterday DH saw him peeing on his face. No stink yet, knock on wood. I'm guessing rut has started? how long does it normally last?

Depends upon the goat. Sometimes 4 months, sometimes 6 months...
