New boys are home...questions

We went and picked up the little fellas this morning. They had never been wormed, so I gave them each 1 cc of Ivomec (they will both be 10 weeks old tomorrow...30 and 31 pounds), 2 ml of selenium/vitamin E, 2 ml of probios paste, and coppered both of them.

They haven't had cd &t yet...should I do that now, or wait for a couple of days since I've already pumped so much into them?

Also, they weren't disbudded until they were close to a month old and they both have little pointy scurs (I can try to get pictures if you'd like). Is there any way that we could burn them again to remove those, or am I going to have to take them to the vet? I'd say their little points are less than 1/2 inch long...the folks I got them from hadn't even noticed because there is hair covering them.

Thanks for any help you can give...I'm sure I'll be firing more questions your way soon!

P.s. We named them Jim (the wether) and Artie (the buck) because we really like the old Wild, Wild West series. I named the wether Jim because he's the flashy one who thinks he's hot stuff with the ladies, but Artie is the real hunk (in my opinion, anyway!).

Congrats on the new bucks!

I think I'd wait till tomorrow on the CDT, it won't hurt any and as you've said, they just got a lot.

You should be able to use clean hoof trimmers to trim the scurs down to the head, then burn again.

Oh, thanks so much for that info! I was hoping that I'd be able to burn them. I've never done it, but I guess I will start...unless, of course, I can get my friend to do it! She burns clear down until she has a white ring and then pops the cap off and then burns a bit more...she gets a completely white circle, not just a ring. I'm not sure if I can be that aggressive.
